History
Our roots
Continuity and the ability to change are distinctive corner stones for a company. We have managed to adjust to market requirements several times in nearly a hundred years of corporate history. Competence as the prevailing constant is the key to entrepreneurial success.
Wilhelm Schneider founds a small paint shop in Siegen, quickly specialising in corrosion protection.
Corrosion protection work is primarily rendered in a new factory, rather than at the construction site.
The first hall of today's headquarters is built in Kreuztal. The company expands continually. The hall area is now 20,000 sqm.
In the scope of corporate succession, the company passed to Dr. Jörg Doege, who developed Schneider+Co. into an international specialist provider.
Based on the flame-spraying method, Schneider+Co. develops a new method for 3-layer polyolefin coating. The world's largest flame spraying facility goes into operation.
The new factory opens in Schapen, Emsland. Another focus is in the area of industrial vehicle coating.
The company takes over two coating plants in Mannheim and Saarlouis.
Schneider+Co. is renamed InProCoat.
